LOYAL ORANGE LODGES
There was a good attendance at tie meetring of Loyal Orange Lodges Nos. 28 and 12, which was held in the Masonic Hall -on Saturday evening. Besides visitors from Milton the Grand Lodge of New Zealand was represented by Grand Treasurer Bro. MTarlane and P.G.M. Bro. Patton. The District Grand Lodge was represented by JD.G.M. Bro. Wilkinson, D.G. Secretary Bro. Medina, P.D.G.M. Bro. Diokison, and D.G. Bro. Smith. < The installing of the officers was a very impressive ceremony, and was (carried out to perfection by D.6.M. Bro. Wilkinson, the following being the newlyinstalled officers of No. 38: —W.M., Bro. D. Marshall; 1.P.M., Bro. W. Stephenson; D.M., Bro, A. C. Gibson; Chaplain, Bro. N. Rollinson; Secretary, Bro. W. R. Houston; Treasurer, Bro. A. Cairns; F.O. Com., IBro. A. M. Espie; S.D., Bro. W. Rutheriord; J.D., Bro. Jas. Blackburn; J.G. Bro. Jaa. Waters: Q., Bro. J. Penman. After Lodge No. 38 had closed, the installing of the ladies was proceeded with )by P.G.M. Bro. Patton, assisted by G. Treasurer Bro. MTerlane, the following being the newly-installed officers of No. 12:—W. Mistress, Sister E. Williams; 1.P.M., Sister G. Donaldson; D. Mistress, ■Sister M‘Auley; Chaplain, Sister Telford; Secretary, Sister Espie; Treasurer Sister Donaldson; S.D., Sister Kaye; J.D., Sister Archibald; Lecture Mistress, Sister Espie.
