PRINCESS THEATRE
‘Hot Unborn Child,’* a drama from the pen of Howard M'Kent, is the attraction at the Princess Theatre at present The plot has to do with the activities of “ Mjsfc ” Livingstone, who seeks to adout the role' of a social reformer. In her younger days this girl married one of her father’s servants. Later, for the sake of her social reputation, casts him ■ aside. However, this - man dies. The wife gives birth to a son, whom she disowns, although she has him educated, and finally adopts him. Her son grows up, and falls in love with Felice Kennedy, but his “aunt,” the title bis mother asurncs, attempts to check his advances. The mother then enlists the services .of a well-known physician. Dr Remmington, to get the girl out of trouble, but her advances are scorned by the doctor. The climax approaches when the son discovers the relation of his “aunt” to him. and he defeats his mother’s ‘intentions and marries the girl he loves. The Rev. Frank Gorman plays the part of Dr Renwnington and Miss Ferguson that of “Miss” Livingstons. in a convincing manner. The minor characters also give able support.
