WOOL FREIGHT RATES

A REDUCTION ANNOUNCED. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON. January 13. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line, the Federal Steam Navigation Company, the New Zealand Shipping Company, and the Shaw Savill and Albion Company ani nounce a reduction in the rates of freight on wool. The reduction applies to all sales of wool bought on and after Monday, January 16, to all consignments of wool shipped on and after Monday, January 16. The new rates, until further notice, are as follows-Greasy wool to United Kingdom and Continental ports within Havre and Hamburg Range, and Boston and New York, Id per lb plus 10 per cent, prqnage; scoured and slice wool to all the ‘ above destinations, lid* per lb plus 10 per cent, nrimage.
