‘‘Home-Spun Folks” and the supporting pictures were produced at the King Katvard Theatre for the last time last nigljtt. “Half a Chance,” in which Mahlon Hamilton and Lilian Rich fill the chief roles, was produced for the first time at the Queen’s Theatre last night. It is a high-class sensational drama, and as it is supported by a Larry. Semen comedy (“The Bakery”) and a Path® Gazette, it should prove a draw. _ , The feature., film which attracted' good houses at the King Edward Theatre (Thomas H., Inoe’s “Home-Spun Folks”) is now being shown at Everybody’s Theatre, and should prove equally popular there. The supports are good, and include a Gaumont Graphic, a Strand comedy, and another episode of the “Invisible Hand” serial. Numerous sensations are provided in “The Fatal Hour,”, a British Metro production now being shown as the feature film at the Octagon Theatre. A double star programme is furnished by the drama, “The Empty Gun,” and the _ supports include two comedies and a Topical Budget The chief attraction at the Empire Theatre is a picturisation of Pinero’s charming comedy-drama, “Sweet Lavender.” in' which all the characters are well-filled and the photography and stage management are good. There are a number of good supports (including a Sennett comedy and ' a scenic), enabling a programme to be provided at each session. William Farnum’s appearance in a drama is always a signal for good houses, so that “His Greatest Sacrifice,” "with that sterling actor in the leading \rolo, should be responsible for big houses at tho Plaza Theatre, especially as the' supports _ include a Sunshine comedy and - a new episode of “The Vanishing Dagger.” A Fox drama entitled “His Greatest Sacrifice” is the feature film in the present programme at the_ Grand Theatre, with William Fkmum in the principal role, and it shows that popular actor to advantage. Another episode of tho serial, “The Vanishing Dagger,” and a Sunshine comedy. make good supports.
