REVENUE AND EXPENDETDRE. NINE MONTHS’ DEFICIT. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, December 31, (Received Jan. 2, at 7.6 p.m.) The revenue for tho past nine months totals £676,831,000 and the expenditure £739,990,000, , meting a deficit of £63,159,000. The revenue decreased £211,972,000 and tho expenditure decreased £102,699,000. The chief decrease in revenue was in stamps, £7,420,000, Customs £2,848,000, and excess , profit duty, which is inoperative except arrears, amounting to £126,640,000. The chief Increases axe: Income tax £16,818,000, and corporation profits tax £19,296,000. — A. and N.Z. Cable.
