ALLEGED GROWING DISSATISFACTION. DESIRE FOR A CROWN COLONY. Frees Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, October 24. ' (Received Oct. 24, at 5.5 p.m.) Mrs Cameron, the authoress, has returned from a visit to the Pacific Islands. She says that dissatisfaction over the present administration of Samoa is growing. There is no doubt a desire that Samoa should be a Crown colony. She is greatly surprised at the hold the Chinese have on Samoa, and says they are marrying Samoan women. The children show magnificent qualities, being as beautiful as their mothers and as industrious as their fathers. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
