CARTERTON, October 18,

In connection with , tho arrest of two voung Natives, Wiremu Namana and Wiremu Naera,, on a charge of breaking and entering a storeroom at the Gladstone Hotel an removing a quantity of beer, four further arrests have been mode. It appears that a fortnight previously a similar offenoe was committed. Constables Millar and Colburno on Sunday arrested Ranji Namana, Kowili Hemi, and Pera Punapa. The. fourth Native who Was implicated was arrested at Kapawai. The four appeared in court yesterday, and _ were remanded till Tuesday next. No bail was asked for.
