OLIVE THOMAS
Olive Thomas gives us in “ The Follies Girl,” which will commence at the Everybody’s and King Edward Theatres to-day, generous glimpses of tho charm of manner and appearance, to say nothing of the versatile talents she possesses, which made her famous. It is a simple yet straightforward story that, does not boat about the bush. “Tho Follies Girl,” dancer and beauty at a cabaret, although looked at with scornful eye, is the only human being that has ever brought light and happiness into the home of a wealthy old invalid, and she eventually turns out to be hjs own grand-daughter. Family appeal is there in this story, which has > much to please even the%nost prodigal taste. The, supporting programme is an excellent onej* and includes the latest Topical Budget, Pictograph, “Burglars Bold” (Fathe comedy), and the seventh episode of tho “Silent Avenger” serial.
