Lord Northcliffe, speaking at the Empire Press Union luncheon, declared that he regarded the question of facilitating the methods of communication within the Empire as quite as important as Imperial defence. Now that he had obtained firsthand information he would be in a better position when ho returned to London to endeavour to secure the more rapid dissemination of news within the Empire A. and N.Z.
