PRINCESS THEATRE

The entertainment at present being offered at tho Princess Theatre presents attractions to appeal to a wide variety of tastes, and taken as a whole the programme is a decidedly bright and amusing one. Among the favourites appearing are Berge and English, who present with marvellous speed a series of clever acrobatic tumbling feats and' “stunts.” The sketches of’ Brull and Hemsley Ore as pleasing as ever, and Marion Mahr, coon character comedienne, and Baron, the ventriloquist, make important contributions to the success of tho entertainment. The Smart Set Diggers present a mirthful ensemble of songs, sketches, burlesques, and dances. This popular programme will bo presented at the matinee this afternoon and again this evening. MISS! The big events of next week’s bill will the debut of Miss Laura Guerite, the well-known London revue star. - The Pullers account her one of the really big acquisitions to their circuit, and this judgment is confirmed by tho enormous business she has drawn in Australia and _tne North Island of _ the dominion. She is a comedienne equipped with great vitality and personal charm. Her work, now frankly hilarious, is again frequently suffused with tears, and she wears a magnificent wardrobe. Miss Guerite’s season will be short, and patrons are advised to make their reservations. The plan is _at the Bristol.
