EVERYBODY'S AND KING EDWARD THEATRES.

“An Arabian Knight,” the main picture in the now programme presented yesterday at Everybody’s and King Edward Theatres,) is distinguished by having the popular' Japanese actor, Sessuo Hayukawa, appearing in the title role. The plot of the story is an extraordinary one, and can certainly lay claim to originality. One of tho loading characters is Cordelia Darwin, gjster of an Egyptian archaeologist. She fancies that-she is the reincarnation of an Egyptian princess and that her lover of thousands of years ago must still be living. She finds lus reincarnation in Ahmed, a young Mohammedan donkey boy. Ahmed turns this fancy of hers to good account, and makes his position secure as a butler in the Darwin home. Here he gets opportunity to distinguish liimself as the protector of George Darwin’s beautiful ward, Elinor Wayne. When Arab chiefs and their wild followers start to scheme to capture this girl there is plenty of opportunity for dramatic developments. Ahmed puts up a splendid singlehanded fight against a fanatical mob, and wins a fit reward ■ for his courage and resource. The production of the picture is done on a lavish scale, and shows the most careful attention to detail. With this picture patrons may also see a most interesting Gaumont Graphic, a. Paths Review, with other up-to-date topical scenes, and the fifth episode of the exciting serial “The Silent Avenger.” '
