SCIENTIFIC AND THOROUGH. Science has taught mankind how to solve many problems which at one time were regarded as unsolvable. Until a few years back soap and water and much friction—destroying friction —were considered indispensable to thorough cleanliness, and, yet, they were not thorough! The result was that in respect to wearing apparel, for the sake of economy ™y little washing had to suffice. The scientific processes of dry cleaning as carried out at the City Dye Works have changed all this. Without friction, or strain on the most delicate fabric garments, silks, gloves, feathers, etc., are now thoroughly cleansed till they compare with the absolutely new. The methods of the City Dye Works are scientific and economical. —Advt.
