Tuesday, August 9. (Before Mr H. Y. Widdowson, S.M.) Judgment by default was given for plaintiffs in the following oases:—A. Sym and Son (Broxburn) v. E. A. Dobbie claim £7 12s 9d, for motor hire (costs £3 5s 6d); D.I.C. v. Susan Blackburn (Edendale), claim £1 ]os, on account stated (costs Ips) ; Peter M‘Cubbin v. Edward Buddioom, claim £5 17s lOd (costs £1 12s 6d|; Para Rabbet Company v. Ross Moore, claim £26 Is 6d, for goods supplied (costs £3 2s); John Chambers and Son v. Angus M'Diarmid (Inohclutha), costs £1 ss; S. R. Stedman v. Ross Moore, claim £34 11s 3d, for tyres and motor spirit (costa £4 2s 6d); C. A. White (executrix of J. 0. White, deceased) v. Moses Reid, claim £24 15s, for hawker’s wagon (costs £3 Is); F. and W. Gorman (trustees of the will of M. Gorman, deceased) v. H. Heaps (Mosgiel). claim £36 ss, for rent of farm (costs £4 is 6d); J- and J. Arthur v. Thomas Hind, jun. (Miller’s Flat), claim £4 2s 9d, for clothing (costs £1 13s 6d); E. O. Nees v. T. 8. Beadle, claim £lO 10s, on a promissory note (costa (£2 14s). Tenancy Cases. — Annie Robertson Jago (Mr Hay) claimed to recover possession of Ho 5 Forth street, from Elizabeth M‘Donald, and £l3 6s in rent to date.— An order was made for possession on September 6 with the amount of rent claimed and costs’ (£3 2s). Another tenancy case. in which Agnes Tuckey (Mr Hay) claimed possession of No. 17. Melbourne road, from R. J. Richardson (Mr F. B. Adams) was adjourned for a week.' The case was originally heard by Mr A. M Mowlem, and adjourned by him to see if defendant could find a house.
