MINE MANAGERS’ REPORTS. Hauraki Miles.—Sloping on Legge’a reef from the drive at the winze and rise connection is in progress, and to-day 101 b of picked stone wore selected from the north end of the winze. Strong colours of gold are to be seen in the general dirt, which should be of a payable nature. Stopmg operations above the intermediate drive have been resumed, end colours of gold were seen iin the quartz taken down; the reef is up to 9in in wSdth. At the 300 ft level the drive on the break in the Welcome Find sedtion has been advanced 15ft for the week, and is now GOtt beyond the boundary; the country oontinuee of the same favourable nature both lor gold and progress. - Rising Sun. —The shaft is down approximately 70ft, and timber will be put in this week. The reef is 6in < wide, and of nice appearance. A good deal of water is making, but is easily handled by the pump, thoufeh it was necessary to put on a night shift.
