MORNINGTON PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
The annual report of the managers of the Mornington Presbyterian Church congratulates the congregation op the satisfactory position reached at tiie close of the financial year. The largo credit balancci of £23 10s 7s is due (they report) to the small amount spent on repairs during the year The congregation have responded most liberally to every call made on them, and the returns from every source of revenue are well up to last year. During the year the electric light was installed in the halls and class rooms, and it is intended when fujlds permit to make further improvements. A tender has also been
accepted, for the soldiers’ memorial, which it is hoped to unveil early next month. The committee has lost the services of Messrs John M’Eae, D. Thomson, Geo. Meiklejohn, and T. M’Croric, all of whom have done excellent work in the Managers’ Court, and they carry with them grateful thanks and best wishes. The committee has. however, been strengthened by the addition of Messrs T. Wilson, D. Cummings, and F. Haig. The managers regret having to intimate that Mr J. C. Easton, owing to ill-health, has had to resign his position as organist and choirmaster after four years service. Mr Easton has been most faithful in his duties, and in thorough sympathy with the church and its worship. He has throughout been on the best of terms with Ids choir, with the minister, and with the managers. .
