“THE GIRL FROM JAMAICA”

For the object of raising funds to complete the grounds of St. Rauls Gathtdral, the bright and clean comedy "The Girl from Jamaica” will lx- reproduced on Wednesday evening at His Majesty’s Theatre. Last week the delight of the large audiences was expressed each night in storms of applause during and at tho end of each act. Though some members stood out more prominently as old and experienced actors, there was nothing to complain of in the characterisation of the smallest part. The author’s wit and tho clever and laughable situations which he worked into tho play were splendidly brought out. The staging was excellent, and the play went, without a hitch. Intending patrons will be well advised to book seats early at tho Bristol.
