Deiault Cases. Judgment was Riven for plaintiffs, by deiault, in the lollovving undetended cases: —Mary Martin v. George isassu Martin (YV'aikaka), claim £lO lor board and lodging, with cr»ts (£1 10s 6d); Kiach and M Lennan v. George Scott (Port Molyneux), part costs only (10s); James Crombio v. Ezra Dobbie (Kawaxi, Auckland), claim £l2 12s for one dress suit, with costs (£4 9s) ; Alexr. Mann v. Jas. Boyd (YVashdyke), claim £3 15s 7d for groceries supplied, with costs (i>l 6s 6d); the Para Knbber Company v. Wm. J. Barnes, claim £9 10s for goods supplied, with costs (£1 lis 6d). A Case Settled.—ln the case between Clarence Frederick Carter and Percival Sylvester Knjpe, which was partly heard on luesday, and which involved a olaim for possession of a house situated at No. 384 Cumberland street, Mr P. Anderson, on beh.ilf of the plaintiff, asked that the action bo discontinued.—Judgment was accordingly entered for the dctendant (Mr Brasch). with costs amounting to £3 17s.
