THE FREIGHT QUESTION.
(Pee United Press Association.) WELLINGTON. July 28. Representatives of producers and shipping interests met in conference here yesterday to discuss freights on dairy produce for the coming season. Those pretion respectively, representatives of tho executive of the National Dairy Association and the South Island Dairy Aasociaucn respectively, representatives of the Exporters’ Association, and representatives of shipping companies. A preliminary discussion loo]: place, and when the conference rose it was officially reported that no further progress could be made until about 10 days hence, when another meeting will bo held.
