Tlio manager of the llauraki Mines, Corommi lei. ronm-tol last night , that he had selected slb of picked stone from the north slojie on I.ogge’s reef about the 500 ft level. In the drive cast at the intermediate level the reef continues to be a strong body of ore. Itising lias been commenced. Driving south cn the downthrow portion of the reef above the 300 ft level (where lOlb of picked stone * was selected iu the previous week), strong blotches of gold have been seen. Stopping above Ibis point lias been commenced. Driving at the 500 ft level on the break in the Welcome Find section is in progress, and the country is of the sumo favourable, nature.
