The Kamona sailed from Lyttelton last night at. 5 o'clock for Westport to load again for Lyttelton. The Koronui left Lyttelton at 9 o clock last night for Wellington. Napier, and Gisborne. The Waipori is loading at Grcymouth for Melbourne. The Karori is expected to leave Auckland to-day for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The Kini will leave Onehnnga on Tuesday for Wellington, and will sail thence lor Pniton to load again for Onehnnga. The Katoa left Wellington at 6 o’clock last night for Anekland. The Corinna left Wellington last night at 6 o’clock for Dunedin. She will load here on Wednesday for Nelson and Now Plymouth, via ports. The Kahika will leave'Westport to-day for Tiraaru. Tho Kakapo, from Westport, will leave Oumaru t<>-day for Dunedin, to load here for Westport. • AVestport reports a smooth sea. Greymouth reports show that an easterly wind prevails, with rain and a considerable sea. The Kararau arrived in the roadstead at Greymouth on Sunday night, but was unable to enter, as too much sea was running. Tho Kanna left Lyttelton last evening for Dunedin., She will load here to-morrow for Auckland, via Lyttelton and AVellington. Tho Paloona will leave Melbourne to-raob-row for Bluff and Dunedin. She is expected to reach here about Tuesday, and will sail for Melbourne, via Lyttelton and AVellington. The Wingatui left Napier yesterday for Wellington, Bluff, Oamaru, and Timoru, and ' will load at the threo last-named ports for Auckland. Tho Wan aka, which sailed from Lyttelton on Saturday, is to load at "Newcastle and Sydney, and is due to leave about the end of tho week for Bluff, Dunedin, and Lyttelton. The Tarawera is now due at Auckland from Dunedin, via ports, and after discharging willl return to Dunedin, via AVellington and Lyttelton. The Lepanto is expected to leave Lyttelton Vo-day, and should reach Dunedin to-mor-row. She has about 600 tons of cargo (including case oil) for this port. After discharging hero she will sail for Melbourne and Adelaide. The steamer Tofua arrived at Suva at 6.30 a.m. yesterday, and will leave for Auckland to-morrow. The mail steamer Marama left Papeete at 5.30 a.m. on Saturday for San Francisco, whore she is due on the 21st inst. The steamer Tahiti, with Sam Francisco mails, Jeft Rarotonga on Saturday afternoon lor ’ Wellington, where she is expected tc arrive on Saturday next. The steamer Durham left Panama on July 5 for Auckland and AVellington. She is expected to arrive about the end of tho month. The Renvuera, which left Wellington on May 26, arrived at Southampton on tho 7tir mat. The Rimutaka left Southampton for New Zealand on Thursday last. The Shropshire arrived at Panama, cn route for England, on the 7th inst. . A radio message from the Buqhin© announces that she will arrive at Auckland about mid-day to-morrow. There has been some speculation regarding * the Hatipara’s voyage from America to New Zealand As far as can be ascertained this vessel left an eastern port of America (presumably New Orleans) on June 20, and in ordinary circumstances should reach Auckland about the 20th inst. The City of Lincoln left New York on tho 4th inst. for Auckland, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Adelaide. She is due at Auckland about August 3. The Wingatui is due at AVellington to-day, cargo-laden from Auckland, via Napier. She is to k-ava AVellington to-morrow evening, taking cargo for Bluff, Oamaru, and Timaru. Owing to heavy weather the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Kaikoura lias been further delayed at Gisborne, and it is not expected that she will reach Wellington before to-day or to-morrow to complete her Homeward loading. The Kaikoura will sail from Wellington on July 10 for London, via Panama Tho liner Somerset, at present discharging coal at AVellington, is to leave on Tuesday to load for Home at Bluff, Port Chalmers, and, Lyttelton, subsequently returning to 'JV'eJlingtcm to complete, THE HAVRE. The steamer Havre (Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Company), which arrived at Dunedin from Singapore at noon yesterday, has about 15,000 cases of oil on board. She had fine weather up to her arrival at Cape Morton, alter leaving which port she encountered heavy seas, and her deck was frequently awash, but no damage was done. Tho Havre will complete her discharge at Lyttelton and AVellington. CREEK SHIPPING LOSSES. The underwriters at London, it is said, have persuaded the Greek Government to take energetic steps to investigate the extraordinary number of Greek ships which foundered or otherwise were totally lost when tho shipping slump began. Within a few weeks claims amounting to more than £3,000,0/0 were presented to Lloyd’s on account of the loss of vessels. It is declared that in certain cases criminal proceedings are pending, and that as soon as these are completed other claims will be paid. WITHIN WIRELESS DISTANCE.
