(Pm Okiticd Pm«s Association,' WELLINGTON, March 19. The body of a sailor, believed to be the remains of Michael Cronin, who was reported missing from H.M.S. Philomel some ■weeks ago, has been found in Evans Bay. It is believed that Cronin fell off the vessel by accident. March 20. A Hindu named Gushodal was seriously injured as a result of being ran over by a motor lorry. The man had a miraculous escape from death. Mrs Doulter, of Ngahauranga, who was driving a horse and cart, collided with a tramcar, and was taken to the in a serious condition. She is now out of danger. CHILD KILLED BY TRAIN. (Pm Ohitto Pkub Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 20. Claude Gruppelaar, aged five, a son of a railvyay surfaceman, was killed by the couth express at Templeton. He was walking on the line with his little sister to meet the father, when ho was struck by the cowcatcher, and picked up dead. Neither heard the approaching express. At the inquest p. verdict of accidental death was returned, jbo blame being attachable to anyone. A waterside worker named J. Johnson, who resides at 61 Grange street, while engaged in working cargo on the Cross wharf on, Saturday morning, was struck by a heavy case, which fractured his right leg. He was taken to the Hospital. A young mail named Harold Hope, aged 23 years, who resides at Shiel Hill, was knocked down by a tram at the Anderson’s Bay terminus on Saturday evening, and taken to the Hospital suffering from injuries to hia back. His injuries are not serious. James Cross, aged 15 years, whose home is at Wickliffe Bay, was admitted to the Hospital on Sunday with a gunshot wound in the right leg, caused by the accidental discharge of a rifle while he was out shoot•V-
