ACCIDENTS’ AND FATALITIES.
FOUND DROWNED. (P*m United Press Association,) WELLINGTON, March 18. The body of Michael Cronin, who * was missing from H.M.S. Philomel, was found in the water at Evans Bay. It is believed that Cronin fell off the vessel by accident. Several accident cases were brought in to the Dunedin Hospital for attention yesterday. A little girl named Gladys Childs, 10 years of age, residing at 18 Hall street, broke her left arm through falling op the playground at Forbury School, and wds taken to the Hospital. Albert May, a seven-year-old boy, living at 6 Albion place, was admitted to the Hospital, suffering from' bums to his legs and feet, which had resulted from his falling into hot ashes. A third admission was that of Henry Sexton, of Sawyers Bay, a waterside worker, 70 years of age, He is suffering from injuries caused by a fall down the hold of s.s. Trevose, now at Port Chalmers. -
