BURMESE OILWORKERS
STRIKE AT RANGOON. DISORDERS FEARED. Frees Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. DELHI, March 17. (Received Martfh 19, at 0.10 a.m.) Burmese oilworkers at Rangoon struck on March 15, demanding increased wages. The is now spreading, and 7000 workers have been rendered idle. The demand for an increase, which was caused through the advance in the price of petrol, has been refused. Disorders are feared, and 250- police have been despatched to protect the plant.—A. and.
