Dr Kling, head of the State Bacteria* logical Laboratory, is reported to have discovered, after 15 months’ research of sleeping sickness, the microbe, and baa finally established that the disease is infectious. Dr Kling succeeded in inoculating rabbits against the disease by irons* planting the brain matter of diseased pen sons found to have- contagious matter in secretions from diseased throats, nose% and in evacuations.—Reuter.
