GRAND AND PLAZA THEATRES
•The popular Grand and Plaza Picture Theatres yesterday provided another doublebarrelled programme, two outstanding productions being screened —one a William Fox specialtyp/.fcaturing Tom Mix, .the cowboy actor;: whio needs no introduction to moving pictmß.-patrons, and the other ‘'Her Honor the/i-Mayor,’ by the same company, and featuring Eileen Percy. This actress has appeared ,in various parts in many Fox , productions, but has not <Jften had the chance of making' such a direct appeal to hep admirers as on the present occasion. In view; of the fact that this was the year of-the " American Presidential election, the story., a certain amount of political interest,' even to a New Zealand audience. “The Daredevil,” the Tom Mix drama, is jgf'hhtt'pe bound to appeal to all sections of and those present yesterday and last night manifested considerable enthusiasm at times as the action went on. The-story is splendidly filmed, and, introduces some daring work.
