TEN DERS ACCEPTED. ! (Pxb United Press . Association.) WELLINGTON, March 1. Cabinet has accepted tenders as follow: For the supply of 10,000 tons of steel rails and fishplates for railing purposes, John Duthie and Co, (Wellington). The contract price. was £l7 Os 5d per ton for the rails, and 521 Is 8d per ton tor the fishplates. The total amount of the contract is £176,058 8s 4d. Garage at Addington, Geoyge White {Lin wood), £2261; four electrical 2SOk transformers, Lake Coleridge scheme, the National Electric American Company, £3137-;. four 120 k transformers, the same company, £2046. Conversion rate for £1 sterling is fixed at four dollars. One 100 k three-phase transformer, Tolley and Son, (Wellington); £330.
