Mr -it "• Norwood, at present a ckr councillor,_ to-day acceded to the request of a deputation of business man to allow himself to be nominated for the mayoralty at the coming elections. At present the other candidates are;—Gr Len M'Kenzie and Mr f,- Hickey (Labour). It is considered likely that Or R. A. Wright, M.P., may also be a candidate.
