SMUGGLING CHARGES
SUBSTANTIAL FINE INFLICTED. (Fib United Press Association,' AUCKLAND, February 14 In the Police Court to-day Alexander Stewart was fined £25 and 42s costs for attempting to smuggle from Sydney eight fur necklets and about seven yards of dress material without paying duty.
