AMUSEMENTS
A most attractive photo-play is at present being screened at the Octagon Theatre in “Blind Husbands.” It tells of a busy man married to a beautiful woman, whom he does not pay sufficient attention to owing to his keen interest in his profession. Then . a man who is described as “a Hun bounder, of women” comes upon the scene and nearly upsets everything, but has his de--signs frustrated at the last moment.' The , ; supports are quite adequate. The programme at the Grand add Plaza' Theatres, commencing on Friday next, , will . feature William Famum in a new William Fox photoplay, “Wolves of the Night,” in. .which the “Samson of the screen” will be seen in what advance report says is one . . of the finest portrayals of his career. The , story certainly contains all the elements of great dramatic action. The supporting pidf. tures will include gazettes, cartoons, and a. Sunshine comedy. . ; _ , Clara Kimball Young, in “The Claw,’ a powerful pictorial drama of the African veldt, is drawing good houses at ihe Kings Theatre, especially as the intense human interest’of the piece is equalled by the filming. The supports also are strong.
