MOTOR CAR ACCIDENT. (Peb United Press Association.) HAWERA, January 11. Two men (J. Grant and V. O. Milligan) were admitted to the hospital this morning suffering from injuries through a motor car going over a bank at Manutahi late last night. Milligan’s head was badly lacerated, and he lost .much blood, while his elbow is dislocated and his leg abrased. Grant’s injuries are thought to be very serious, but their extent is not yet ascertained. WELLINGTON, January 11. Returning from a swim, at Rona. Bay yesterday evening, Mrs MKeegan, wife of Mr Charles M’Keegan, a well-known engineer, collapsed, apparently from heart and died- shortly afterwards., The deceased’s son is on the engineering staff of the Moana. NELSON, January 11. Mrs D. Flint, who met with a serious trap accident on Christmas Day, while driving from Kaiteriteri to Riwaka, died yesterday. The deceased was making a good recovery until a few days ago, when tetanus set in. "■ WELLINGTON, January 11. Another drowning fatality occurred at Upper Hutt. A lad named Hector M‘Duff, aged 15 years, who was camping at Trentham with secondary school cadets, went swimming with a company of 100 companions. When the company was mustered after bathing the clothes of the deceased were found on the bank, and the body was found in a hole. The deceased was a high school student. His parents reside at Parana!, Thames. At the inquest a verdict of accidental death was returned.
