"ON OUR SELECTION."

One of the best-known books in Australia, regarded everywhere, as being an epic of bush life, is Steele Rudd's " On Our Selection," a dramatisation of which was recently produced in London with enormous success. Mr Raymond Longford, who made " The Sentimental Bloke." has completed a seven-reel picture of "On Our Selection" for Mr E. J. Carroll, and it will be screened for the first time in Dunedin at O'Brien's Empire Theatre on Friday next. The screen version follows the story faithfully and without any exaggeration. The pathos, humour, and absorbingly interesting incidents of the book are taken in natural sequence, and a comprehensive production in keeping with the high standard of the work is the result.
