"Common Cause," featuring Sylvia Bremner, is the leading attraction at the Queen's and King Edward Theatres. The serial, "Smashing Barriers," and other supports are included in the programme. The management of Everybody's Theatre is showing as tile feature films "Back to God's Country" and Chaplin's "Sunnyside.' The supports are gocd. "Social' Ambition," tho new feature which will commence at O'Brien's Empire and the King Kdward Theatres to-day, deals with the widely divergent influence of two women on a man's life—one a society butterfly, his wife, whose only use for her husband is that of universal provider, /and who loses no time in discarding him when lie meets, her extravagance, financial ruin; the other a simple girl of Alaska, who rescucs tho human dcreliet and gives him a fresh impulse to live and make good. The picture is said to have much value as an entertainment, to be well produced, and to have some beautiful settings of life in the gay metropolis and in the frozen white snaees of Alaska.
