The inspector's report of tho recent school examination was presented and considered. Several committeemen expressed their pleasure at receiving so satisfactory a report, and a unanimous Vote of congratulation to the head master and school Kt°aff was passed. The matter of tho retardation of scholars was considered at length, and tho following resolution was unanimously passed: "That this committee, having heard-thehead Master's statement, and examined the echool records and tho inspector's report, is fully satisfied regarding the classification 0 f scholars, and instructs the clerk to write to tho Otago Education Board asking for permission to publish that part of the inspector's report referring to classification."
