LIVERPOOL SHIPWRIGHTS , STRIKE. VESSELS REPAIRED IN GERMANY. Prose Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, September 20. (Received Sept. 21. at 5.5 p.m.) The Sailors' and Firemen's Union at Liverpool is holding up the Elder-Demp-ster steamer Monarch, which, it is reported, was to go to Bremen to be repairod, owing to the Liverpool shipwrights' strike. The Germans offered to do the work cheaper. Many vessels have been sent to Germany since the strike commenced a month ago.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
