GREAT INTEREST IN RACE. EVENTFUL DAY AT HAND. Preen Association.—By Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, July 12. The measurements of the Shamrock IV and the Resolute have been completed. Both vessels are anchored near here, and are virtually ready for the first race. There are a large number of sightseeing craft already anchored offshore along the course. The experts have not yet announced the results of the measurements. Many yacht clubs have announced that they are giving a dinner in honour of Sir Thomas Lipton. The race promiras to take an appearance of an international festival
