Oases of diphtheria continue to occur, sporadically, and last week 33 notifications camo to hand. Tho latest district health bulletin con tajns 42 notifications of goitre. This disease has not been mode notifiable in the strict sense of the term, but as the Public Hoalth Department is anxious to collate statistics regarding its provalencfi, medical practitioners have been asked to furnish tile deparfcment with particulars of eases that come under their notice.
