. LONDON, June 28. (Received June 28, at 5.5 p.m.) Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford have decided to make an aerial tour of Europe.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
(Received Juno 28, at 7.50 p.m.)' The Daily Express announces that magnificent buildings a stone's throw from the House of Commons which were intended for a Ciovernment department will be converted into a practical memorial of the brave dead._ It will be called " Kind's House. It will be a vast bureau, .where-ex-service men can obtain advice on any conceivable matter, together with financial assistance. Originally, a wealthy man intended to establish such a memorial out of gratitude for the fact that' his only son passed unscathed through the war ' The boy, however died of pneumonia aboard a transport homeward-bound, and the fatner was so severely shaken that he never . completed the legal formalities. Others, notably women's organisations then took up the idea.—A. and N.Z. Cable
