B.M.A.'s ATTITUDE
COUNCIL TO DEVISE STEPS.

(Received June 27, at 11.30 p.m.) The British Medical Association, at its annual meeting, decided almost unanimously that practioners should not voluntarily disclose, without the patient's consent, information obtained in the exercise of their professional duties. It instructed the council to devise steps in support of members maintaining professional secrecv. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
