ALL VETERANS ADMITTED.
(Peb United Press Association.) . WELLINGTON, June 4 An important decision was reached by the inference of th 0 New Zealand Returned bokl;ers Association when, on tho recommendation of the Auckland branch, it was unanimously resolved that the ' British veterans of former wars should be admitted as active members of the association. In support of tho remit it'wos urged that now that the soldiers of tho great war had had an opportunity of being repatriated it was only right that a cordial welcome should be extended to the British veterans of other wars.
E F. Andrews (Auckland) said tW all south African veterans, who were able, had taken part in the great war. There wero veterans of other wars than the great war who would bo proud to wear the badge of the association, and an opportunity should be afforded them to do so. The conference concluded to-day.
