WOMEN'S MEETING AT WELLINGTON. (Peb United Pkeb3 Association.) WELLINGTON, 'May 24. The cost of living was considered at a, mating of tho Women's National Council to-mght, when it was decided that on a lixed date every member of the council should, early jn the coming session, send to tho member of Parliament for her district a post card drawing his attention to the rising cost of living, and stating that sho exacted him to take- action in tho matt er . It. was also decided that the Women's National Council should" concentrate upon the reduction of food prices, and of New Zealand woollen goods, • and join with tho Returned Soldiers' Association to discuss the campaign for bringing down the prices of necessities.
