The Morning Post's Tientsin correspondent says that Englishmen in tho Far East almost unanimously opnoso renewing the Anglo-Japanese Alliance in its present form, fearing that it would involve Britain discreditably in Japan's Eastern policy. They believe that the alliance prevents moro cordial Anglo-American 00-opexation in China, which is indispensable for the solving of China's difficulties.
