CANCER AND RADIO-ENERGY.
TO THE EDITOB. Sib,—Several letters hare appeared in tout recent issues dealing with the cancer ecourge and my letter thereon. I would like to repeat that I. do not desire to deal with theories but wilih facte; it i« advisable to oondnct our investigations from the latter to the former. One outstanding fact concerning this disease is the connection between radio-enercrv and cancer. This energy manifests iteelf by SSrte&^^f 1 * P %*f « wooden rod held between the hands. I repeat again that in every instance that I have examined where cancer has occurred in any dwelling! I have found the energy operating upon the wooden or steel indicator-ond this Without exception m oyer 70 cases that I have TO far investigated. Surely thia should: be sufficient to make any thmking man realise that here is a field of inquiry worthy of keenest investig'ation. With reference to the case of Canterbury with its-underground water as mentioned by one of the correspondents, I may say that the artesian surjply of that district may be described as a great .underground 'lake/and theordinary diviner is unable to locate such a body of water. So fax as investigation has gone, only underground streams of water are connected with caees of cancer, although' farther research may reveal some influence emanating from standing water. I have not many data collected from investigation in Canterbury; but what I have seen bears out exactly that effects are experienced there similar to those m Otago and Southland. Would our friend kindly go through the stotishcs showing the prevafenS of cancer m the different districts and let U3 know tho figures? I again appeal to both women and men to get their shoulders to the wheel and bete to force a slow-moving Government and scepticalscientists to haivo this matter thorouefclv investigated. The wiseacres and the cult who call this "superstition" will then get all thev deserve. Instead of spending time in ureioi theorising and ateurd fads, let us all get to work to follow up the clue now given, eothat humanity may be saved 1 from untold misery and suffering.—l am, etc., * Stirling, May 17. Jojtw Mosrav. [This correspondence is olosed.—Ed. 0.D.T.l j
