At the Addington market to-day there were smaller yardings of fat etock than usual. •Prime mutton ehowed the healthy tone that has marked the recent markets, and there was little alteration in recent values for prime beef, but inferior beef was. down, and lower prices had to be accepted for light mutton. Store Sheep.—A good entry, mostly ewes and wethers, with a good proportion of Chatham Island and Southland eheep forward. At the commencement the sale was backward, wethers were in weak demand, but aii other claeses were much the eame as at the preceding sales, with forward lambs firmer. Quotations: Forward lambe, 20a to 23s lid; ordinary lambs, 15a 6d to 19a 6d; cull lambs, 12s 6d to 14s 3d; ewe lambs, 23s to 355; two, four, six, anti eight-tooth ewes, 25s 6d to 80s; inferior two, four, six, and eighttooth ewes, 25s 6d to 28a; inferior two, four, sis, and eight-tooth ewes, 19s to 25a; twotooth ewee, 25e Id to 27s 2d; good four, six. and eight-tooth wethers, 29e to 33s 6d; ordinary four, eix, and eight-tooth wethers, 26s to 28s; good two-tooth wethers, to 30s 6d; other two-tooth wethers, 25a to 28s. Pat Lambs.—A slightly smaller yarding. Tie market was on a par with recent sales, freezing buyers operating freely. Fat Sheep.—There was a noticoablo easing in values of light ewes, but for. prime mutton the market waa on a par with last week's. Freezing' buyers operated to a fair extent.
