QUEEN'S AND KING EDWARD THEATRES.
"In tlie Gloaming," tho feature film at the Queen's and Kinrj Edward Theatres, is a picture built round the last two lines of the old song of that name. The scene is laid partly in England and partly in Australia. Tho picture is well filmed, and the acting is good. The interest in tho story outlined is maintained throughout, and there are several dramatic situations. The fate of two men, mates on the goldfield, is intimately bound up with the life of a woman, and in tho end a tragedy paves tho way for the union of two loving hearts after various vicissitudes. Tho supports are good. A serios of the popular educator allows tho exciting capture of a wild cat in America and some of tho wild birds of Scotland in their native haunts. A comedy, "Their Model Wives," also finds favour with patrons.
