"Pals First," produced by 'Metro Screen Classics, which, will be initially scroeried at the King's Theatre; commencing at tho matineo this afternoon, is reported to bo without question ono of the strongest screen releases for some time. Harold Lockwood and Ruby dp Itemcr aro strongly supported. Mr P. S. Harrison, in the Moving Picture News, has said: "You will welcome this attraction with open arms. It will gladden your heart. No matter how deeply your emotions may be hidden, it will reach them just tho same. Pathos and suspense aro tho predominating elements in tltis picture. It is not the kind that will leave your patrons sad and dejected, however, but the' kind that will make some of them crv and feel they did right. The plot, based on the novel of the same name, by Francis Perry Elliot, is so well constructed that it holds one in constant suspense. The fact that tho hero is impersonating his own identity doesn't become Known to the audience until tho end. Therein lies the greatest value of the pictinw. When the revelation comos it is a big surprise. Fine supports are promised in conjunction with this feature.
