CHILD KILLED BY MOTOR CAR.

WHANGAREI, May 13. Madge Finch, dged five years, a daughter of Mr R. S. Finch (surveyor), wae killed instantly in Mill road this afternoon. When 'emerging , from behind a motor car she w&a sbruck by the splashboard of another car driven by Dr Campbell, who did his utmost to obviate a collision. ' •.
• DANNEVIKKE, May 13. William J. Wiseman, who was. caught up in «the belting and whirled round the shafting in tile Daiinevirke Woodware Company's factory on Tuesday morning, succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
