Mr John Edie, M.P. for_ Bruce, was m Dunedin yesterday oil business connected with the Tuapeka County Council. Mr W. H. Hagger, Conciliation Commissioner, will leave for Christohurob. tflis morning Ho will sit in Chriitcliurch nest week. He will return to Dunedin on the 24th. iast. Mr W. R. Brugh, who intends to leave Dunedin shortly on a trip to India, China, and Japan, was granted five months' leave of absence by tho Otago Education Board yesterday. Members expressed the hop* thai Mr Brugh would have a pleasant holiday -m the East.
