Mr James Begg held a meeting atHindon on Saturday, when a vote of thanks, moved by Mr James Middleton and' seconded by Mr J Lister, was carried by acclamation. A highly successful meeting was held at The Reeß during tho afternoon. Mr Begg addressed tho electors at Middlemarch on Monday, arid received a very attentive hearing. A vote of thanks, moved by Mr Dan. O'Connell and second by Mr Davo Winter, was carried without dissent.
