Easter meeting was concluded ■n fine weather, and there was a fairly good attendance. Two impressive perfornnaJ4/ce3 wese put up during ttle day—Sosanof's win in the Great Autumn and the decisive manri'er in which Amyvhas sccied in the Challenge. A meeting .between them ai TrentJiam will be the star attraction of the meeting. "Wintev Wind went slightly amiss whilst running in . ihe Champagne Stakes, andl henoe the reason for, his disappointing display in the race after. j Prince Delaware, and Trickery ran off at the first "jump in the Peerewick Hurdles. It became a duel between Hylana and Bombproof, and tie former wort by a length and β-half,, Sea Blue practically half a furlong away. Bombpxoof showed out well for a novice at thie business, and should soon pick up a race. In the Autumn Niursey Delight justified the confidence reposed in her by taking charge from Fabrinade, who had led to the distance, and won well by ovei a length from Bebehead, who beat Little River by a good neck. Listening Post was always well placed, but fuikd to stay on, although ho finished close up, fourth. All Beady played up a bit in the Yaldhurst Welter Handicap at the barrier, and wae left several lengtlis through being side on at the start. Clean Sweep and fideepy Head were smartest out, and the former came away before reaching the straight,. to win easily by three lengths from Old Gold, who made up a lot of ground and cut Sleapy Head cut of eecond' money. Sisyphus, who finished fourth, aleo mede up a good deal of ground. A strong favourite in. Hefcana faded out over ihe last three-fur-longs. The pen was- struck through th* names of Radial and "Wiarlova for tho Groat Autumn, and Saaanof went out better than a two to one chance, and carrying considerably more than twice the amount of money on Battle Song, who went out second favourite. They got away to a fair lin«, with Battle Soogi first to show out. Nightraider wae with the leaders as they turned out of the straight, and &3 they ran towards the mile post Werlib> moved up to tho leaders. Sunart tying close up with hie rider bumping about on him. Kilmoon lay about three lengthe away, followed by Sasanof. Kilmoon and Sasanof closed up as they ran round the top turn, and Sunart dropped liack several lengths. As they stmaglitencd for home Kilmoon showed up on the ra.ils, and Saecnof ranged alongside the leaders on tb? outeidte. Ineide the disiaooe Saeanof ran to the front,' and won by over a length from Kilmoon, who beat Nightraidor by a neok, whilst

Suoart, who came with a, great run in the straight, appeared to almost beat theHhird horse. The others were sight up behind tie placed lot. Sasanof put up a great performanos, bui the olement of luck was not entirely absent from his win, as ISiinart obviously wrecked a good •chance as a. rceult ot his rider, A. E. Ellis, breaking one of hie slimip leathera. The great amount of ground ho made up. and the bumping about lie got, through Ellis losing an iron early in the race, clearly suggieste that Sasanof would have required to put up a strenuous battle to bea-t him. Still, the to-vweight ag-ain proved) hunsalf a great boiw?, and epcrtenvai -avs looking fonmrd to seeing him meet Amythas at weight for age nesfc week at Tronthanj. Cheolnna.to a.n4 Kikalm wcro emartest out m the Paddling-ton Handicap, but Rx) Chow took charge, and Rippin?ill also ran up to tie front, but turned wide into the straight, whore Foo Chow conxs away ond woji easily by three lengths. Satisrfaetioa beet Kil,oalm by a lcsng-lh., with Sterliko fairly close up, "fourth. Bi(»ht and Left found friends for tie Challenge Steltes, hut when it caroo to bueiness raced paet Golden Bubble and tlie colt ran homo an caey winner by over tkroo lengths from , Goldan liubblo, xtho oom-farfcabiy fleteated Eight and! Loft by a neck. Amythae would have been capable of a great performance if he hud met anything , oapaWo of fully extending him. Only a qtmrtct went to the poet for (ho Tompk-ton Handicap, for whicJx Brackenfield ■H-ont out a slightly lwtter ftivonirito then Chimera. At the' rico of the barrier, to an indifferent start, jßrackcafield was slow oil hi« and Bca Spec ran poet and led Chimera and Kilkds. in*o the ."'.raiifht. Oiice in line ior horn* Bon Speo' and Chimera came awav. hut the former was in trwiblo hfllf a fnrlont; from hemo, "and Chimera l*>nt him comfortably at tho finish. Killala finWKKI half a dojien lengthfl eway.

Badial wae mado a pronoTincedi favourite for tie Final Handicap, in irfiioh Early Dawix

, got well away, and opened up a good lend, whilst Radial was a bit elower, and ( wae running third laat at the ond of a fnr- - Ion?. Early Dawn led into the etraight, with • Hadi.il 'in c'.ofo attendance. They were U>- - geilier at tta distance, where S«dd-el-Bfthr ar--5 riv«l on tbe occno, and, racing past tha loaders, won by a length and a-half from! harly Dawn, who bse-t Radial by a eimUar distance. M-acDnff finished a modorate fourth, • ' FELCDING RACES. , (P«R UHITBI) I'IIJSSS ASSOCIATION.) J , FEILDING, April 6. , Tho eecocd day's raooe won-© lieJd in glorious , weather.
