Lord Sin ha will shortly be appointed Governor of Bengal. He is the first native appointed to a Governorship. Tho following appointments are confirmed: —Mr Worthington Evans succeeds Mr G. 11. Barnes; Sir Ilamar Greenwood succeeds Mr Macphenson, who becomes Minister of Pensions; Mr J. G. Kellaway Buoceeds Sir Ilamar Greenwood. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
